Ottawa Disc Golf Club is proud to announce it has officially become a registered not-for-profit corporation in Ontario. Our Certificate of Incorporation, issued under the province's Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010, took effect on July 14, 2026, with the club now formally registered under Ontario Corporation Number 1001642722.
This milestone reflects our commitment to growing the sport responsibly and strengthening the club for the long term. Non-profit status brings several important benefits. It opens the door for the club to apply for government and foundation grants, giving us access to new funding sources for course improvements, equipment, and community programs. It also strengthens financial transparency, ensuring members and the wider community can trust how club resources are managed. Finally, it enhances our credibility as an organization, supporting stronger partnerships with municipalities, sponsors, and local businesses as we continue to expand disc golf in Ottawa.
