The ODGC board would like to extend a warm welcome to David Beck. David Beck started throwing frisbees back in the early 2000's as an Ultimate player. He took up Disc Golf during the pandemic in 2022 and has since become a regular fixture along with his daughter at Ottawa area courses, leagues and tournaments. Over the past 4 years David has grown to love the sport and is eager to help grow the sport of Disc Golf in the Ottawa area. He says he will bring the perspective of regular "noodle arm" player to our Board. David has been a volunteer at several learn-to-play events this year.
With a daughter active as a junior player David has a special interest in promoting Disc Golf to this age group and is the tournament director for the July 4th Juniors event, the Ferguson Forest Super Saplings.
David was appointed to the ODGC Board of directors by the current Board for a 21-month term, ending in March 2028.
