Each year, any club that earns 10 or more points on the Ontario Tour is granted a provincial qualifier spot for a member who hasn't already qualified for provincials on their own. Thanks to a strong showing from ODGC members across this year's Ontario Tour events, we're currently sitting 4th in the province in club points — and with the 2026 Ontario Provincial Championship coming right to our home turf, hosted jointly at Ferguson Forest and Sandy Row from September 18–20, we hoped there'd be plenty of interest in that spot.
To keep the process fair, we opened up a call for submissions to current ODGC and ODSA members who hadn't yet qualified. We received two strong submissions from members who've each put real time into this club and community, which made the board's decision a difficult one. After reviewing both, we're proud to announce that Justin Correia will represent ODGC at this year's provincial championship.

If you've played a local event this year, there's a good chance Justin had a hand in it. He directed two PDGA C-Tier tournaments in 2026 — the Sandy Throw at Sandy Row and the Larrimac Open at Larrimac — and runs two local leagues, LETS (tags) at Larrimac and the Humdinger (flex) at Camp Fortune. He also serves as course coordinator for both the ODGC course at Camp Fortune and the Larrimac course, and he's captaining Team LETS at this year's CLDGQ, the Quebec Team/League Championships.
Beyond that, Justin helped coordinate jackets for last year's Plaid Jacket winners, has donated prizes and sponsored holes at other local events on behalf of LETS and his own tournaments, and pitches in on admin work for odgc.ca. As for chasing a provincials spot of his own, the nearest qualifying events landed on the same weekends as tournaments he was already running — dates that were locked in before the qualifying schedule was released.
Justin will compete in MA1 when the province's best come to Kemptville this September.
