The basket on hole 2 is beyond loose. It easily moves 8inches back and forth, who do we contact about it?[/i]

On it... I was actually planning on moving that basket last night, but the weather went a bit sour on me. I will fix this tonight!

There are more sticks jammed in there now, but it can be knocked sideways with a good approach shot. Any chance a permanent solution is coming?

Yes. Discussions are underway about a permanent solution.

So...Kauffmann and I were out the other night to fix the basket. We wanted to mount it more solid but just as important, move it to reduce the number of out of bounds shots over the hedge.

In the darkness and mosquito swarms we found the area to be pure bed rock. The basket got mounted on the backside of 'the hump.' It is short, an ace run that will cause some putting angst.

Let us know what you think.

A nice fix, the hole is really short now, but the opportunity for a rough put is there for sure

Sone children of the people playing in the baseball diamond decided to use the new #2 as a jungle gym. It's now more lopsided than it was in the old placement...

Oh crap, I have messaged Mr Kauffmann, he may have ways to mount it more solid. I will go and check it out tonight.

Just a quick update on this, I was out for a little practice today and Adam was there to fix this. I gave him a hand and it's now firmly in the ground with a better post.

I think that is why the basket got loose in the original location...people in that area see it as a play structure. I am just not sure what can be done, it may need a super solid concrete mounting.

Maybe a sign saying Thisnis not a play structure?

I must confess the new placement of 2 is sketchy as F....

If we wanted discs to not go in Terry' yard it's a fail in new spot. Also it stands insanely high are we leaving it here?

Play Kanata with 11 newbies and this new pin position put at least 4 over the path and 1 into the hedge. All played the shorts. If they had even the smallest increase in power, all 5 were in Terry's backyard.

Cool place for the better golfer. Iffie for everyone else.
